The Master's degree program in Mathematics develops your knowledge of scientific theories and methods, your experience in working independently with scientific questions, and your ability to express yourself clearly on academic issues.

The physicists and astronomers at Radboud University attract attention worldwide with spectacular discoveries - from the origin of cosmic particles to magnetism with light.

Want to help design a spacecraft or take part in a space mission? Push the boundaries of space exploration with our Space Engineering MSc. You could play a role in helping us explore further than ever before. On our course you’ll learn advanced concepts of spacecraft engineering ready for a career in this hugely exciting sector.

In the MSc in Nanoscience, you will work together with world-class scientists: top researchers from the Zernike Institute for Advanced Materials provide education in the courses. Top researchers also provide supervision in four individual projects, in different research groups. Also, our program is the home of the 2016 Nobel Prize Winner in Chemistry, Ben Feringa, and the Nobel Prize winner in Physics, Frits Zernike; Spinoza Prize Winner Bart van Wees teaches in several of the given core courses. The MSc in Nanoscience is built upon the research cycle: ranging from design to synthesis, and device building, characterization, and research, to the theoretical foundation and improved design. It is a selective Master's degree: that assures you are studying as a cohort in a small but very motivated and talented group of (international) students. Our program is a 2-year full of partial scholarships for all admitted students. Also, we are among the top-3 of all Master's degree programs in the Netherlands 5 years in a row (Dutch Higher Education Guide 2019).

The joint master’s programme in Mathematics is hosted by world-leading experts and research groups at KTH and Stockholm University. Students specialise in their desired areas of mathematics while acquiring essential skills in problem-solving and logical reasoning. Graduates become industrial mathematicians, often data analysts, financial analysts or within software engineering, or go on to PhD studies at prominent institutions.

With internationally awarded and acknowledged research groups at the forefront of Physics, SDU has one of the most versatile and dynamic academic environments to offer you a specialised education in the fields of Computational Physics, Particle Physics & Cosmology, Quantum Optics, and Soft Matter & Statistical Physics.

The master's programme in Engineering Physics bridges the gap between theoretical physics and practical engineering, seeking to develop future technology. Solving complex problems is an integral part of education, demanding in-depth knowledge of physics, as well as analytical and computational tools. Through specialisations, students become domain experts in one field of physics and go on to advanced industrial R&D positions or PhD studies.

As a student of Chemistry, you get the opportunity to work in some of the country’s best laboratories and you have great job and career prospects when you graduate. In the Chemistry program, you will become part of the research of chemical compounds for new pharmaceutical products and modified DNA, which will help us target infected cells in the body.
