يهدف BSocSc(Psy) إلى توفير منهج دراسي يتوافق مع معايير مماثلة للجامعات المحلية والخارجية، ولكن أيضًا ثلاثة تركيزات مترابطة تعمل على تطوير القدرات الفكرية للطلاب وقدرتهم على تطبيق المعرفة والمهارات النفسية في مكان العمل - (1) علم النفس المدرسي، (2) ) علم نفس الصحة، و(3) العلاقات الإنسانية والتواصل.
أهداف البرنامج
ويشتمل البرنامج على هدفين شاملين وستة أهداف فرعية للتعليم والتدريب. عند التخرج من البرنامج، سيكون الطلاب قادرين على إظهار مستوى عال من الكفاءة في كل مجال من هذه المجالات.
لتزويد الخريجين بخلفية قوية في المعرفة والبحوث النفسية
- إظهار اتساع وعمق المعرفة في علم النفس ؛
- تطبيق الأساليب العلمية لتصميم وإجراء البحوث النفسية ؛
- إظهار التفكير النقدي والإبداعي في تطبيق المبادئ النفسية على القضايا الشخصية والاجتماعية والتنظيمية محليًا وعالميًا.
إنتاج خريجين قادرين على دمج علوم وتطبيقات علم النفس بكفاءة
- التواصل والتعاون بشكل فعال مع المهنيين والجمهور في توفير المعلومات حول البحوث والخدمات النفسية ؛
- تطبيق المعرفة والمهارات النفسية على مستوى ما قبل المهني في مجموعة متنوعة من الإعدادات؛
- إظهار الحساسية والكفاءة في تطبيق المبادئ والمعايير الأخلاقية لدعم المسؤوليات المهنية والسلوك في مكان العمل.
To promote whole-person development, the programme constitutes a total learning experience for all students to prepare our graduates to be able to apply psychological knowledge in various job settings.

Scholarships have been established to encourage the pursuit of academic excellence and recognise students' academic achievement. Set up by funding from the University and donations from various organisations and civic-minded individuals, these scholarships are granted on the basis of academic merit, personal qualities and contribution to the community, amongst other factors.
Graduates of BSocSc (Honours) in Psychology are eligible to apply for membership in the Hong Kong Psychological Society as well as international psychological associations. This programme thus helps to develop the University's reputation as a provider of Education Plus programmes by offering a qualification which is professionally and internationally recognized.
